Arm: INF- 81mph. Compact arm from a ¾ slot. Good follow through, effortless carry on throws.
Defense: Light on the feet, shifty. Comes around the ball well, athletic instincts. Fields ball out front, funnels to the chest, fluid transfer. Smooth infielder with a confident glove, hands.
Hit: RHH. Balanced stance, feet shoulder width. Hands begin by the shoulder, light bat wiggle. Simple leg kick draws back and drifts into stride, explodes with fast hips/hands (Hand speed max- 22.5mph). Uphill bat path into one handed finish, in and out of the zone at times. Made hard contact (ex. Velo max- 95.3 mph.) to both sides of the field, working middle-right side.
5/11/21
vs Live Oak HS - lean young average body type, starting catcher as freshman while hitting in the 7th spot in order, competitive receiver, has advanced techniques just needs more strength to fully implement, arm is fair and will come around, loose arm, accurate thrower (2.25 warm-up pop), competitive at plate vs one of harder throwers in the area (88-91 mph), infield single, 4-3, F5 vs that pitcher, tied game in bottom of 7th with two outs and bases loaded with solid single through the left side, generally a pull approach but timing was there and grit at the plate showed. One to keep an eye on as he physically matures.
