Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
The athlete's fastest 0-10-yard split time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.

The athlete's fastest 0-60-yard time in the given event year. Measured in seconds.
6.90
Top Speed (MPH)
The athlete's fastest split time converted to miles per hour.
RSi
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Event: California State Games Positional Profile: OF Physical: 6-0, 185-pounds; 6.90 runner in the 60, 3.85 30-yard split, 1.69 10-yard split, 27.1” vertical jump. Lean athletic build, sinewy strength. Offensively: RHH. EV max – 95.6 mph, sweet spot% - 63.2%, line drive% - 47.4%, hand speed max – 23 mph, bat speed max – 72.9 mph, on-plane efficiency avg – 72.7%; rotational acceleration avg – 16.5; Small up down step very close to no-stride, wide feet outside shoulders, two hand finish around the back on middle-in with top hand release on pitches away, lowers hands a bit from high start in the load, some rotational aspects of the upper body (shoulders) in the swing, there is plenty of strength and bat speed and twitch to impact the baseball. Defensively: OF mph – 83; Athletic feet, somewhat choppy feet as he gets ready to throw, arm is average, range is good, profiles with ability to play any of the three OF spots, raw athleticism is present and tools that can be coached and refined.
6/16/22
NorCal State Games ID: One of the two most 'toolsy' players in attendance, the 60 was quick and the infield velocity showed well, indicating some innate twitchiness that will continue to blossom. The body is noticeable right away, proportional and athletic. The bat talent is there to match the physical athleticism, with mid-90s EVs, outstanding rotational acceleration numbers, indicating his ability to quickly get the barrel into the zone, and a lot of sweet spot contact. Also possesses both above average hand speed and bat speed.
