2019, RHP (Arizona State University) Christian Bodlovich was masterful on Saturday during the first game of the doubleheader. Bodlovich threw a complete game four-hitter, walking one and striking out 8. He had 16 first pitch strikes, was routinely getting ahead in the count. Bodlovich doesn’t overpower hitters, he wins with precision, great pitch location and movement on everything. He has easy velocity on the fastball, which runs and dives into left-handed hitters. Has loose movement on curveball which is a true strikeout pitch. Changeup has good deception from fastball. Bodlovich has excellent command of the zone, along with presence and poise on the mound. He is a smart player who really knows how to pitch, a competitor, gamer. He is a player you want to have the ball in his hand in a big game situation.
