Physical: 5-11, 180-pounds; 7.42 60-yard, 4.15 30-yard split, 1.83 10-yard split, 26.5” vertical jump. Average size frame with athletic strength and compact build.
Offensively: RHH. EV max – 93.8 mph, max estimated distance – 344 ft, hand speed max – 22.4 mph (20.7 avg), bat speed max – 70.7 (67.8 avg); Hitterish set-up, open stance, tall, vertical barrel, feet just outside the shoulders, small reverse toe tap out to small stride, separates hands front front side with elastic load, strong barrel control ability, consistency of hard line drive contact in BP round should up in game play, gap power ability.
Defensively: INF mph – 83; Traps ball while funneling to waist, keeps feet moving through the catch and into the throw, soft glove, can throw from multiple angles with accuracy, throws were a bit off to the RF side of the 1st baseman but around the bag indicating he can keep the front side in-line a bit more.
Delivery: Starts slightly cockeyed, overhead with hands, quick paced with athletic actions, gathers over rubber with some tuck, slightly cross-body stride, uses full body in delivery, strong core with hip turn, long stride, maintains body control.
Arm Action: Long arm action with some quick downward stab, out to a high-3/4 release, has some recoil after release.
FB: T89.5, 87-89 mph velo range. 2181 max spin (2039 avg), quick FB, comes from sneaky slot and release height, has length through zone due to outstanding release out to long extension.
CB: 71-73 mph, 2654 max spin (2539 avg), feel of high spin big breaker, out-quality curveball with depth and quick downer change of direction.
SL: 79-81 mph, 2207 max spin, smooth breaking slider, can be used as a show or strike stealing pitch with the CB being his out pitch.
CH: 80-81 mph, 1354 avg spin, threw one, velo difference and spin reduction of the FB give it a chance to be an effective offering.
Body: 5-11, 175-pounds. Medium build that is maturing and filling out. Present strength in the lower half.
Hit: RHH. Athletic stance. Wide with straight-up feet. Simple foot down early trigger that is in sync with his hands loading back into his scap. Compact stroke that works direct to the ball. LD filled round that worked the whole field. Clean path. Allows the body to tilt and stay in that tilt through the swing. Quick hands and above-average bat speed allow him to barrel higher velocity.
Power: 90.00 max exit velocity. Some present wall-ball power to the pull side. Average bat speed of 69 mph and rotational acceleration of 17gs shows a decent power ceiling.
Arm: RH. INF - 84.00 mph. OF - 88.00 mph. Above-average arm strength from both spots with similar arm actions. OF throws were a mix of accurate on-the-fly throws and 1-hops with good carry. 5/5 accurate throws from the INF as well. Shorter arm action from SS but loads into scap a bit more in the OF and gets more uphill with his shoulders to get that pulldown action. Doesn't need extra time to get off strong throws with consistent quickness to release.
Defense: Above average actions from both the INF/OF. In the OF displays glove early, fields in rhythm and creates good momentum with his body after fielding to get off strong throws. Heavier feet in the INF but showed good fundamentals. Low fielding positioning with decent glove skills and a clean funnel up to belt. Projects to a corner INF spot.
Run: 7.63 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Side steps while hands work overhead. As hands work back over he gets into a higher knee tuck that gets him engaged in his back hip. Drop and drive type delivery as he sinks into his lower half. Upper half creates more of a pulldown effect as he establishes a higher gloveside direction with uphill shoulders. Works hard down the mound with good energy. Is in-line with home with a firm front leg at finish.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm action. Medium arm circle that gets into some good scapular retraction into foot strike while maintaining good separation. Present armspeed and effort throughout the delivery. Works out of the H 3/4 slot.
FB: T87, 84-87 mph. Decent spin at around 2200-2300 rpm. Had some present late life. Worked well up in the zone.
CB: 70-74 mph. Above average spin at around 2500 rpm. Solid movement characteristics. Consistent armspeed and slot.
SL: 73-74 mph. Slurvy break. Above average spin. Hard and tight break. Worked well of the FB.
