Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. Strong build, present lower body strength, powerful young body.
Defense: Calm approach, reads ball on ground well, smooth and relaxed to the ball, corner OF profile with average range potential.
Arm: LH. OF - 82 mph. Smooth easy arm action, fairly short on back side getting to 3/4 slot which does tend to create tail to his arm side and takes throws off line.
Hit: LHH. Starts deep in box, tall narrow setup, bat relaxed on shoulder, slightly open, quiet leg load to stride and stays slightly open, hands stay close to original slot, sees well and sets up well to get off powerful swing. Has present raw power and balanced approach w/timing and acceleration through contact, swing plane will play as he continues to get stronger, soemthing slightly resembling Darryl Strawberry how trigger starts and sweeps barrel through the zone.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity in cage front toss session.
Run: 7.04 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Simple start, drops hands to waist as he turns his hips, knee lift slightly above waist, controlled athletic stride very slightly cross body, stable lower body.
Arm Action: LH. Clean backside, mid-thigh depth, compact and clean, high-3/4 slot.
FB: T81, 78-81 mph. Holds plane, considerable run and some late fade.
CB: 68-69 mph. Smallish downward break, back up a bit on him.
SL: 73-74 mph. Flashed late bite and depth on glove side, has feel.
CH: 73-75 mph. Considerable fade/run to bottom of zone.
