Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Among the top uncommitted players in N CA, especially among catchers; All-around baseball player at the catcher position, possesses no less than average defensive abilities projecting to college level, clean catch/throw mechanics, accurate arm, strong bat w/plus barrel feel, went 3-4 (2 1B, 2B) in 4 AB, each ball scalded. Ready to hit early in the count, compact swing with ability to drive the baseball.

Area Code Underclass Games tryout - Uncommitted; Continues to keep his name in the conversation for college bound catchers in the 2021 class, tools and talents show up as consistent in various looks over the last season+, received well in the live at-bats portion of the tryout and also blocked balls in dirt well. Nothing particularly flashy about Adge but he can play and given the most basic and important needs of the catcher position he should be in the mix for college programs still looking for a 2021 backstop.

PBR N CA Preseason All-State - Medium frame with strength and length in lower half showing high waist and good thickness; legs have some scissor action sapping some speed (8.06 60-yd). Wide, low stance showing quickness in his feet and ability to smother pitches in the dirt; arm works from lower slot with quickness almost slinging the ball to 2nd base. Can work to stay on top of the ball a bit and cut some of the armside run (2.04-2.11 pop, 74 MPH). Narrow, tall stance with strong posture and high hands/high back elbow; hands work down and back as front leg lifts creating strong separation between upper and lower half. Works from behind the baseball as bat works with leverage to the pull side of the feel; easy controlled swing with quickness into hitting zone and future power available (84 exit velo).

PBR Northern CA Underclass Games - Uncommitted; Good looking all-around 2021 catcher should emerge as one of the better ones in the region in his class. Offensively showed good balance and rhythm in the box, strong hands and top hand dominant finish to the swing. Both game at-bats were good contact to the pull side and faced quality pitching. Strong young hitter. Defensively showed a clean, calm, efficient transfer with above average arm strength given that he is a rising sophomore. Throws could be more accurate, pop times in workout were a bit quick with some cheating out of crouch but game throw of 2.09 was indicative of where he’s at now. Very solid young catcher, older brother is at U of New Mexico as a pitcher.
