8/1/18 - Five-foot-9, 175-pounds, strong, muscular frame with well defined lower half and strength in upper half. Gould shows power at the plate with a consistent middle-left approach and sneaky power in the bat. He's short to the ball and long through it while staying behind the ball well. Does an excellent job of incorporating his back hip into the swing to generate power. Gets and keeps his barrel in the hitting zone on a consistent plane with fast hands. On the dirt Gould shows an excellent first step while anticipating angles well. The backhand is good as is the accurate arm which is capable of making throws from multiple angles. Gould ran a 7.34 60 yard dash and registered an 83 mph exit velocity off the tee.
