Notes

Comments

7/07/21

Body: 5-6, 135-pounds. Baseball athleticism in a smaller and proportional frame.
Delivery: Overall ease to his delivery. Quick up and down with repeatability throughout. Two-way feel on the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Arm circle in the backs mirrors his longer outfield arm swing. Accelerates at best in the front of his throwing motion. Arm speed stayed consistent pitch to pitch.
FB: T81, 78-80 mph. Fastball showed sinking action with high probability for groundballs.
SL: 70-71 mph. True slider TrackMan showing with good horizontal breaking movement.
CH: 73-74 mph. Good armside run, playing off the fastball well, potential to be his best out pitch.

Hit: RHH. Slightly open and upright setup. Starts pre-pitch setup early working to get in a comfortable hitting position. Sprayed the ball to all fields.  Showed some launch angle in his batting practice showing. Took aggressive power hacks with his last few swings. Size and strength gains will help power.
Power: 83.00 max exit velocity
Arm: RH. OF - 75.00 mph. Accurate throwing session with limited outfield velocity. Throws were highly successful with long hop approach.
Defense: Aggressive towards the ball, choppy feet at times, quick arm to shoulder release.
Run: 7.41 runner in the 60.

10/10/20

Body: 5-5, 130-pounds. Smaller frame with some present athleticism.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open and upright in stance. Simple forward stride but starts movements early. Hands work back as the bat works more horizontal and flat.  Smooth repeatable stroke that works on a level plane. Good feel for the barrel. Produced many LD's through the middle of the field in BP.
Power82 mph exit velocity. Good foundation with swing mechanics will produce tons of LD singles. Power will come with size and strength gains.
Arm: RH. OF - 76 mph. Short and quick arm action that releases to a lower elbow 3/4 slot. Throws upward to get more carry. Mostly accurate one hop throws.
Defense: At times fielded the ball with the wrong lead foot but attacks the ball and showed good defensive movements.
Run7.53 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Simple and repeatable delivery. Uses a mild knee lift and is quick up and down. Is online with home at finish along with being in a good fielding position.
Arm Action: RH. Uses a longer arm circle that comes out of the lower 3/4 slot. Arm accelerates late in the delivery. Same arm speed on all pitches. Slots SL at a lower arm angle.
FB: T79, 77-78 mph. Some present armside run. Located it to all quadrants.
SL66-68 mph. True slider with good HB movement. Tough pitch against RHH.
CH: 68-70 mph. Showed good armside fade. Lower spin creating good drop around 1300 rpm.
