8/1/18 - Six-foot-4, 230-pounds, big, physical, muscular frame. Strength is evenly distributed throughout the body with lower half being well defined. Swartz shows a middle-opposite field approach with projectable power. Sprays balls to all fields and flashed some pull-side power on a couple hits. Uses a short leg kick to generate his power from a balanced setup. Power really projects in the future as he continues to play more baseball after giving up football just last year. Swartz shows some athleticism on the infield where he aggressively plays balls in front of him. His footwork is fluid and his exchanges are clean. Arm is accurate on throws but can get a little long on him. Swartz registered an 84 mph exit velocity off the tee and a 76 mph position velocity.
