V Soledad - Uncommitted. First impressed at Central Coast Open in fall and showed again today. Great day with three hard contacts including 2 hits and 2 RBI. Medium frame with high waist and a strong wide shouldered upper half build.  At the plate stands tall and narrow keeping hands at the back shoulder with flared elbows. Shows some pre-pitch momentum with bat waggle before big leck kick showing strength as he gathers in his back leg. Balanced forward movement with hands turning barrel and moving back into shoulder getting into balanced launch position. Quick, level swing with ability to drive balls from gap-to-gap showing strong extension through contact. Showed pull side approach in game driving a singles past the 3rd baseman twice before driving a ball deep into the wind in CF to score a run with a Sac Fly. Athletic out of the box with more agility than overall foot speed; flashed the ability to turn it up when his 2nd single scooted off the LF allowing him to get into 2nd base without issue. Uses same agility in MIF where he has strong lateral quickness with good control of his body. Compact arm flashes above-average with throws showing on a line across the diamond and a quick release; showed arm off on a play deep in the hole letting it go to nab a quick runner. Type of build and arm-strength to play all three INF spots at the next level. Teams looking for a MIF should take a look

10/7/18 - Central Coast Open - Uncommitted and one of the top uncommitted players in Northern California, 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, lean body with high waist and wiry muscles. Athletic average runner at 7.44 60 yd dash that plays with more quickness than explosive speed. At the plate showed a very strong bat utilizing a narrow stance with even hands that utilizes a small tuck and turn before gaining ground on the swing. The bat works with quickness on an upward path as it drives through the ball; peppered the middle of the field and deep into gaps regularly finding barrels (89 MPH exit velo). At SS showed natural middle of the field actions including strong footwork as he regularly kept momentum as he worked through the ball and showed excellent body control from all angles. The arm flashed plus with a quick release from a very quick arm that had balls regularly on the line with life through 1st base (86 MPH).

6/24-26/2017 @ BAWS 2017 - Wiry athletic 5-foot-10 155-pound build, defensively he's a  talented middle infielder, athletically built with bouncy actions, easy release, good feel for the position, has a little twitchiness to him, balanced swing, quick bat, has potential for lots of line drive contact and as physical maturity comes some gap pop, developing a better timing mechanism will help as he faces better competition and velocity.
