Hit: RHH, Upright, athletic stance, high hand placement, starts with bat on back shoulder.  Twitchy bat to launch position with short, controlled stride.  Top hand release with good extension.  Creates solid, hard contact with an ability to stay inside the ball with positive rotational acceleration. Exit Velocity; 85, line drive hitter with the ability to add loft and generate power.
Defense: Solid blocking technique with soft chest, balanced stance.  Creates a large target uses good framing techniques working down to up with soft hands and a solid, stiff wrist. Arm Velocity: 74, Pop Time  1.9-2.0

8/03/19

5-foot-9, 150-pound fundamentally sound catcher from the 2021 class who ran a 7.81 60. At the plate, starts in a tall stance, controlled weight shift to back side, toe tap, short in line stride, level path, uses middle of the field. Exit velocity was 76 mph. Behind the plate, pop times between -seconds, 79 mph positional velocity, over the top arm slot, staggered set up, quick catch and throw on time with footwork, throws have carry, mostly accurate.

1-27-19
5-foot-8, 145 pounds. Bats and throws right. In stance hands start a little low and load straight back. Soft Leg kick stride. Will lunge a bit but hands stay back. Line drive hitter to both gaps in live round. Level path with bottom hand finish through extension. Produced a 78 mph exit velo off tee. Behind dish is confident, and fundamentally sound. Hands are soft and quiet. Has good lateral movement to both sides. Pop-times off coach were 2.0 to 2.12, with 71 mph arm velo. You can see the improvement coming off a summer in which he started for the Eagles.


 
6-12-18
5-foot-6, 131-pound right hand hitting C/3B who ran an 8.07 60. Balanced at the plate with a long stride and quick load on the pitch.  Swing path is uphill with good extension out front.  Does show the ability to go the other direction during the live round.  Exit velocity was 72 mph from the tee.  Quite setup behind the plate, showed good glove actions while framing and on balls in the dirt.  Release can be long on throws to the bag, but accuracy is there.  Arm was 67 mph and pop-time was 2.28-2.32.


1-28-18
5-foot-6, 131-pound right hand hitting C/3B. Balanced setup, high leg kick to start swing maintains balance through contact. Finishes on his front side. Compact, fluid, repeatable swing, creates consistent contact; 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Pop time ranged from 2.20–2.25. Clean footwork and exchange with short arm action. No wasted movement. Throws were accurate to the bag.  Soft hands receiving. Good reactions on balls in the dirt.  Arm velocity was 65 mph.

10-11-17
5-foot-4, 125-pound right hand hitting C/3B who ran a 7.90 60.  At the plate he hits from a balanced setup with compact swing.  Long stride and stiff lower half.  Level path, average bat speed.  High exit velocity of 72.  Behind the plate he showed good actions and soft hands.  A quick glove to hand transfer with a 2.09 pop-time.
