Bauer

10/14/12 - Bauer is a projectable 6-foot-4, 160-pound left-handed hitting corner infielder. Bauer, who ran a 7.02 60, impressed with his athletic feet around first base and soft hands. Bauer, who has long legs and arms, exhibited some bat speed and athletic hands from the left-side of the plate.  As Bauer continues to develop physically, he should develop more power in the coming years. 

At first base, the lanky Bauer (6-foot-3, 160-pounds) is agile; he moves well both ways and has good footwork and a quick, accurate arm. Offensively, he has balanced setup and demonstrated swing looseness through the zone, with the ability to hit for power when he squares up. Bauer also showed some speed, running a 7.05 60.
