6.18.15 - 6-foot, 190-pound outfielder, physical build. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, arm bar load, short stride, good balance, can get more out of lower half. Strong bat speed, slightly uphill path with occasional pop, 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm plays from a high ¾ slot, 84 mph from the outfield. Runs well, 6.95 runner in the 60, projects as a good bat at a corner outfield spot.

5.9.15 - 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder ranked No. 39 in IL, No. 378 overall. Strong build, wide shoulders, strong lower half, 6.84 runner. One of the top uncommitted outfielders and hitters in Illinois’ 2016 class. Hits from a balanced, crouch setup, hands held around his head, relaxed throughout, very little movement, hands load quietly, short stride, short, level, compact bat path. Doubled to right center on an 86 mph fastball in first at bat, walked in second at bat, singled hard up the middle on a 75 mph curveball on the inner half in third at bat, impressing keeping his hands inside the baseball and shooting it back up the middle. Fielder’s choice in fourth at bat, hard hit groundball to third. Later scored stealing home on a double steal. Good routes in the outfield, aggressive going after the baseball, ran hard into Rita’s brick centerfield wall nearly stealing a triple from Marty Bechina in the seventh. Stayed in the ball game. Dyke is a high follow prospect in the 2016 class that has the ability to hit in the middle of the order at the next level. Very little swing and miss to his game, one of the most advanced approaches at the plate in Illinois.

4.21.15 - 6-foot, 180-pound physical centerfielder, muscular build, strong lower half, above average runner (6.84 runner in the 60). Impresses with balanced approach at the plate, hits from a slightly crouched setup, balanced setup, short stride, hands load back smoothly, barrel stays on plate, flat path, up the middle approach. Line shot RBI single to center in second at bat, also lined out to right hard in third at bat. Defensively, can go and get it, solid routes. Longer arm action in back on the take away, ¾ slot gives throws some run to arm side. High level prospect in the 2016 class, consistent performer in the middle of the lineup for the Crusaders, ranked No. 39 in IL, N. 378 overall.

3.20.15 - 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitting centerfielder, physical, strong lower half, hits in 3-hole for Brother Rice, impresses with balanced approach at the plate, works middle of the field. Line drive at pitcher’s head on 86 mph fastball in first at bat. Very little pre-pitch movement, hits from crouched stance, RBI sac-fly to right in second at bat. Arm strength looked to be slightly improved, good carry on throws into the wind during pregame, accurate arm (80 mph from OF in past).
8/1/14 - Dyke impressed throughout the three games with his advanced, patient approach at the plate, with three walks and a hit by pitch.  He scored three runs, and stole a base as well.  He singled up the middle in his last at bat in game one, and also ran 4.4 down to first in a ground out in game three.  He does not possess a rocket arm in the outfield (80 mph from a crow hop), but Dyke is a heady player who will play a solid defensive right or left field, and will see his bat and approach carry him to the next level.

4/26/14 Ranked No. 12 in Illinois’ 2016 class, No. 48 overall.  Impressive 6-foot-1, 190 pound muscular frame, physically advanced for age.  Handled only chance in left cleanly on an Ako Thomas liner.  In pregame showed average arm strength, accurate throws to bases.  Mature approach at the plate, wider stance with toe-tap/no stride.  Hits third, struggled on breaking ball down, but struck out in third at bat against one of Boricich’s best sequences of the day: 84 FB in, 78 CH down and away, 70 CV down for swinging strike.

5/24/13 - Dyke is a physically advanced freshman, developed lower half, wide shoulders, shows advanced overall strength. In the outfield shows advanced arm strength for his age, shows carry and good bounce off the turf. Route running is above average, showed the ability to chase balls in the gap using efficient routes. Offensively takes a mature approach at the plate, athletic setup, advanced bat speed, excellent pitch recognition. Dyke was highly impressive at the plate taking some of the best at bats of the day against one of the top right handed arms in the region (Jake Godfrey). Dyke showed the ability to turn around an advanced fastball making hard contact to his pull side down the lie for a hit. He also showed a high level of pitch recognition, again making hard contact to the middle of the field on one of the better curveballs in the state. Dyke looks to be one of the more advanced 2016 prospects in the state and is a high follow for that class. 1-for-3, 1B
