At the plate he showed a strong hit tool, hitting from a balanced stance with smooth load, short stride, strong lower half, and high quality balance through contact. Has a line drive swing, with an uphill path and pull side tendencies. Exit velocity off the tee was 85 mph. Defensively, showed solid hands. Arm works long and stiff from a high ¾ slot at 73 mph with some accuracy and carry. Ran a 7.25 60.
