5/20/13 - Indiana commit. Ranked No. 136 in the Class of 2013. Long frame, slender build, 6-foot-3, 165-pound left handed pitcher, frame shows excellent projection. Delivery shows effort, hard landing, slight collapse, deceptive delivery. Arm works between a high ¾ and ¾ arm slot, long arms, shows extension. Fastball sat 82-85 mph, touched 86 mph, showed late life, deceptive, above average arm side run. Breaking ball showed sharp action, hard late biting action, advanced breaking ball, 70-75 mph. Foote is a deceptive southpaw who throws nothing straight, he demonstrates late movement in the hitting zone with all of his pitches and is tough to square up.

2/19/12 Foote is a lanky, athletic 6-foot-2, 155-pound left-handed pitcher who impressed with his loose arm, feel for three pitches, and showed some deception in his delivery.  Foote showed good run on his 79-81 mph fastball, and throws two off-speed pitches.  His off-speed consists of a 67 mph curveball with some two-plane bite, and a 70-75 mph changeup with arm side run.  Foote projects well, as his long frame should fill out nicely in the coming years.
