Awadzi got the nod for Elite Baseball Training in the semi finals of our PBR at The Rock Fall Championships and his strong start ultimately propelled his team into the championship game. A long armed, proportionally strong 6-foot-1, 200-pound athlete, Awadzi relied on an effective fastball/curveball mix to keep hitters off balance throughout his start. He pumped his fastball in at 83-85 mph throughout and attacked the lower quadrants of the zone early, turning to that low-70s curveball more and more as his outing went on.
