6.19.18 - Louisville recruit. Broad-shouldered with a long, athletic, 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame, Wiegman certainly looks the part atop the rubber. Standing tall, he puts together a simple, compact delivery striding slightly across his body before delivering out of a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 88-90 in his relief appearance, and he pounded it for strikes showing control in the zone. His 75-76 slurvey breaking ball was also thrown for strikes, and while not a swing and miss offering, yet, his athleticism and strong arm make me believe that it may one day evolve into one.
