Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 170-pound, right-handed pitcher with a lean, long lower half. Got the start on the mound. After giving up two runs in the first inning, Bregar kept Yorkville off the board until the sixth inning and allowed his team to stay in the game. Bregar struck out seven over 5.2 innings pitched and gave up three earned runs on eight hits and four walks. Stretch only delivery, stays controlled and in rhythm down the mound. Bregar used a fastball, slider and changeup throughout. The fastball played with slight cutting action at 80-82 mph and topped out at 84 mph. The go-to secondary is a slider with short 10/4 movement, a confident pitch thrown in any count, at 65-69 mph. Changeup, played straight with the same armspeed as the fastball, sat 70-72 mph.
