2/16/14 Illinois State recruit. Physically advanced 6-foot, 200 right-handed pitcher with extremely strong lower half and wide shoulders. Throws three pitches for strikes, higher-3/4 slot, quick arm, some effort in delivery. Fastball topped at 87 mph, sitting 85-86, heavy late sink and run. Changeup looks to be a go-to pitch. Throws pitch with fastball arm action, late sinking action down in zone, the type of pitch that will force hitters to pound into the ground.  Throws pitch with aggressiveness at 79 mph. Curveball (70-72) had erratic action, occasional bite, some depth, has tendency to slow down arm action. Regardless, fastball/changeup combination will get a lot of outs at the next level.

The strong 5-foot-10, 172-pound player was one of the most physically advanced players at the event. The switch-hitting Parchute showed his strength with bat speed and raw power potential. On the mound, Parchute impressed, coming from a � arm slot with a fastball that sat at 77-78 mph. Parachute demonstrated an easy arm action which will look to continue to gain velocity over time.
