2/20/12 Adams is a solidly built 5-foot-10, 180-pound catcher who features a strong lower half. Adams impressed with his hitting prowess; he showed excellent balance and the ability to drive the ball with authority. He has a quiet overall approach, as he showcased raw power potential. Defensively, Adams showed well in the pens with his ability to stay low and block well.  He was clocked at 77 mph from the crouch and had a best pop time of 2.07.
