8/02/26
Currently ranked No. 4 in the state, No. 127 nationally. 6-foot-1, 206-pound frame with some present strength throughout, still room to add. One of the more polished bats in attendance, finishing the weekend 3-for-6 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Right-handed hitter, really utilizes the lower-half in the load and stays in his legs throughout, especially with two strikes where he will spread out and take up the entire box. Strong hands with loose wrists and some flick through the zone, there’s clear intent in the swing with control of the barrel and a hitterish look to him. He also impressed behind the plate with sure-handed receiving actions, pairing with a strong/accurate arm (75 mph). He also showed well at third base with steady hands and the ability to move laterally to both sides.
3/25/26

Estrada went 6-for-8 at the plate, tallying one double, seven RBI, and one run scored. His performance included a walk-off single on Friday against McCracken Co, Prep Baseball Kentucky’s third ranked team.

3/21/26

Fresh off a walk-off game-winning single the night before, Estrada proceeded to go 4-for-4 with a double, four RBIs and a run scored. Quickly establishing himself as one of the top bats in the freshman class. Loose, athletic and strong hands for his age; manipulates the barrel, covers the whole plate and uses the whole field. Name to follow closely in the coming years.

3/21/26

Currently ranked No. 5 in the state’s 2029 class. 6-foot, 192-pound frame. Batted cleanup and served as the DH on Friday night. Estrada collected two hits and drove in three of the team’s five runs, including a walk-off single to right field in the bottom of the seventh to defeat the No. 3 ranked team in Kentucky. The freshman showed a mature approach at the plate with the ability to use the whole field, lining an early single to left before coming through again to right to end the game. A high-follow prospect in the state’s freshman class.

2/08/26

C Chase Estrada (New Trier, 2029) is a must-know backstop coming through the prep ranks. 6-foot, 192-pound frame, some present strength with room to continue to add quality muscle and size throughout the years. Took one of the more impressive rounds of the day - from a wide base he starts open and works back to even with a longer stride, creating separation in the hands that allows him to create bat-speed and whip through the zone. He was on the barrel for the majority of his round with pull-side results and some lifted contact, peaking at 95 mph while averaging 88 mph (T358’) - also averaging 76 mph for his bat-speed (T82.3 mph). Clean round of defense from behind the plate, worked down to a 1.98 for his pop-time, steady actions, clean transfers with sufficient arm-strength (T76 mph). High-follow right-handed bat with real power potential in the coming years.

5/30/25

Estrada, a strong 6-foot, 165-pound frame, showed well during his first game of the weekend Friday afternoon. The righty went 1-for-3 with a line drive single pull-side and a loud fly out to center field. In the box, he’s set up with confidence, with a wide set stance and small toe touch, sitting deep into his lower half. The barrel is able to stay through the zone with compact, quick hands. Eastrada also made an appearance on the mound, showing a two-pitch mix. With the fastball up to 77 mph and the curveball sitting 64-66 mph. It’s a quick short-arm movement, with the curveball able to generate off-balanced swings.
