Parkland Scout Day: Long legged lefty landed open, producing good tail & sink to his 87-89 mph fastball. H3/4 slot. Sharp breaker at 75 mph released from a visibly lower point than his heater. Filled up strike zone with both pitches. Also showed fair feel for an 80-81 mph changeup with some run. Slowed his arm speed a bit, but showed very good extension on this pitch.

7/24/18 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound, left-handed pitcher, high-waisted, athletic frame. Works with tempo and repeats, sturdy, waist high balance point, hip leads in-line down the mound, uses frame to get extension, lands square, finish is easy and athletic. Glove pat leads to short, loose arm swing, quick arm speed, clean high ¾ slot, maintains control. Fastball had late run, pounded the bottom of the zone, 82-85 mph. Curveball, 1/7 gradual break, maintains arm speed, 72-74 mph.
2.19.18 - 6-foot-1, 176 pound, lanky left handed pitching prospect. Tall and fall delivery, level shouldered, square landing to home, balanced, athletic finish. Short, loose arm action, high ¾ slot, regular effort throughout. Fastball flashed sink, 82-85 mph. Curveball and slider both showed 1/7 shape, curve more firm at 70-71 mph. Slider ranged 68-71 mph. Changeup, straight movement, maintains arm speed, occasionally stiff, sat 76-78 mph.
