4.2.15 - 6-foot-1, 190-pound strong, sturdy, well-developed lower half right-handed pitcher, committed to Illinois, currently ranked No. 20 in Illinois, No. 221 overall. Long, high ¾ arm slot, lower half stays in line with home plate. Actually showed higher end of velocity from the stretch, may get into legs a little better from stretch. Fastball sat 88-90 mph early on, touched 92 mph several times, generally straight. Settled into 85-88 mph range by the fourth inning. Curveball has been calling card, true 12/6 shape when he gets on top, 72-75 mph. Also throwing a slider now in 77-78 mph range with lateral movement, 10/4 shape. Flashed a 76-77 mph change.
7/31/14 - Verbally committed to Illinois.
8/7/13 - 6-foot, 180-pound right handed pitcher, athletic frame with strength. Bellair proved that he has one of the stronger arms in Illinois’ Class of 2015. His delivery works on a tall and fall approach, stays in line with an athletic finish. Arm worked extremely quick, athletic arm action, clean and easy, high ¾ slot. Fastball touched 89 mph while working easily at 85-88 mph, featured late run and control of the zone. Curveball showed above-average action but was thrown with conviction, excellent arm speed, thrown at 73-76 mph, worked on 12/6 plane, plus potential. Showed a straight changeup at 74-77 mph, showed control with slightly decelerated arm speed. Bellair displayed feel of three pitches with a highly athletic arm action. High follow in the Class of 2015.

6-19-2018:Senior, RHP, Rockford (Tennessee Wesleyan) – 6-foot, 230-pound, stocky athletic build. Threw with a quick-paced compact delivery, finishing upright. 34 arm slot with average arm speed. Average FB at 88-91, kept the ball down and missed barrels. Maintained velocity late in the game, topping 91 in the 6th. Plus CH at 78-80 with depth that really plays. Threw to both RH and LHHs in any count. Clear #1 pitch that produced many swing and misses. Below average SL that he mixed occasionally. Threw SL less than his CH. Grinded through 7 innings of shutout ball while striking out 8 and only walking 1. Could really pitch, simply got hitters out. (Jake Stone)
