Ripped a double to left field - 92 mph off the bat - and also collected another single during Top Tier’s win on Friday. Athletic 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame, showed above-average arm strength behind the plate.

Uncommitted junior. 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher, upside frame, athletic. Hit four hole for the Ramblers going 1-for-3 with three RBI. Calm and comfortable in the box, sets up even, strides short with leg lift trigger, smooth load. Path works fluid and uphill, direct to the ball with loose hands and lift, present bat speed, thinks middle and stays on the ball. Delivered the biggest hit early in the game driving a tough slider to right field for a two-run double. Lined out and and flew out to right in two other at bats with a hard groundout up the middle as well. Quick out the chute, feet are fluid with agile blocks, quick recover. Arm plays short and super loose, average arm speed, traditional catcher slot, 2.22-2.26 in between innings, 2.19 in-game.

7.18.18 -6-foot, 160-pound, athletic, lanky, right-handed hitting catcher. Offensively, balanced setup, smooth load, leg lift stride, maintains good balance. Middle approach, made consistent line drive contact, repeats swing, long barrel path, gains extension through zone at-times, fluid rhythm, 82 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.53 laser-timed 60. Defensively, short arm action, high ¾ slot, kept throws around bag, 72 mph from the crouch. Fluid footwork, clean on exchanges, pop times ranged, 2.25-2.32.

10.22.17 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound catcher, thin projectable frame, loose actions. Arm plays loose, long release, high ¾ slot, 71 mph out of the crouch. 2.30-2.37 pop times. Soft hands, athletic setup, flexible actions behind the plate. 7.88 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action, leg lift stride. Easy, loose bat path, uphill path, showed bat speed. 79 mph exit velocity from the tee.
