3.17.18 - Unsigned Senior. Currently Ranked No. 234 in Illinois’ Class of 2018, No. 28 C in Illinois. 5-foot-10, 190-pound, strong, wide-shoulders, thick lower-half, left-handed hitting catcher. Offensively, open setup, leg kick timing-trigger, showed situational awareness and feel for the game. Against Lincoln-Way West, with the bases loaded leading by one, pulled the first pitch from a new pitcher to right field, scoring two runs and opening the game up. Next at-bat pulled another ball into right for a single. Finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, 1 R, 1 K.
8.9.17 - 5-foot-10, 190-pound, strong, left-handed hitting catcher and outfielder. Offensively, tall, open setup, leg kick timing trigger, gap-to-gap approach, 91 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.09 60. Defensively, behind the plate, traditional catcher’s arm action, short, over-the-top, throws were around the bag with carry, 74 mph from the crouch.
