Lutes’ fastball sat at 86-87 mph and his slider looked to be one of his top secondary offerings at 70-72 mph and a max spin rate of 2181 rpm.

Delivery: Starts with slight knee-bend, quick tempo with some rhythm, lands square, in line with plate, shoulders work slightly uphill. Huge extension to home (7.08 feet on average, the event-high) helps increase perceived velocity.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, short action, some extension.
FB: T87, 85-86 mph. Mostly straight, showed intent to use top of the zone, average spin at 1,973 rpm and 14.1 inches of induced vertical break.
CB: 67-68 mph. 11/5 action with depth, feel, landed at the bottom of the zone, average spin rate of 2,050 RPM.
SL: 73-74 mph. 10/4 action, short, tight, average spin rate of 2,110 RPM.
