Heartland Scout Day: Strong bodied righty at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. Compact arm path with some stiffness to the action. Balanced delivery, gets downhill to plate. Fastball more down angle than wiggle at 85-87 mph. Worked in progress secondary offerings. Overthrew breaking ball for flat shape at 72-74 mph. Limited feel for split change at 76-79 mph.

Delivery: Directional delivery, works on-line and lands front-toe slightly closed.
Arm Action: RH. Short window, quick out front, over-the-top slot.
FB: T86, 79-84 mph. Plays straight, thrown for strikes.
SL: 71-74 mph. 11/5 shape, tight spin.
CH: 76-79 mph. Maintains fastball arm speed, plays straight.

7/8/18 - 6-foot-1, 220-pound, big-bodied, durable, right-handed pitcher. Started on the mound in Game 1 of the day for Rhino. Was on his game early, pounding both sides of the plate and mixing in his breaking balls for strikes and swing and misses. Had a no-hitter through the first three innings with five strikeouts. Fastball worked straight, sat 83-85 mph. Mixed in two different breaking balls; curveball with 11/5 shape, 68-70 mph. Slider, thrown more as a putaway pitch sat 70-72 mph. Also, showed feel for a changeup at 78 mph. Follow 2020 right-handed pitcher.

2.18.18 - 6-foot-1, 210-pound right-handed pitcher, large build, strong lower half. Short rocker step into leg lift, directional landing on closed toe. Arm action is short, over the top slot, some effort, above average arm strength. Fastball is straight, four seam type, worked top of zone, 84-86 mph, topped at 87 mph. Slider is near fastball arm speed, 11/5 shape, 70-77 mph. Straight changeup has feel , near fastball arm speed, 75-77 mph.

10.27.17 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound, strong, physical, right-handed pitcher. Impressed in short bullpen session. Delivery stays on-line and arm works quick from an over-the-top slot. Threw a high volume of strikes with his fastball, works straight, late life at times, sat 84-87 mph. Curveball worked 11/5 69-73, feel for the zone. Changeup, thrown for strikes, 75-78 mph. Currently possesses one of the stronger arms in the 2020 class.
