Aggressive hitter, looks to drive the ball pull side. Balanced, relaxed setup in the box and a smooth pre-pitch load. Defensively, feel for first base, steady hands and fluid footwork. Long arm action, flashes carry across the diamond. Also, one of Springfield’s top arms, although he did not throw on this day.

2.16.15 - 6-foot-1, 205-pound, left-handed hitting OF/LHP. Strong lower half. In the field has a short arm action with some carry on throws. Threw 81 mph from the outfield. At the plate hits from an open, spread out stance. Smooth load with a short stride. Line drive, gap-to-gap hitter with an uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.70. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle, with a short, stiff arm action, max effort. Tall and fall, online delivery, with a square landing and recoil. Erratic command of fastball that showed some life and run at 81-82 mph. Curveball showed 2-8 and occasional sweeping shape at 63-67 mph. Changeup sat 69-72 mph.
