Illinois commit. 6-foot-, 170-pound athlete, looks like a gamer in uniform, athletic frame. Hit 6-hole and played right field. Plus defender, tracks down balls in rhythm, can go get it. Arm profiles in right field but the speed tool can move him to center. Left-handed hitter, fluid path, stays on the ball. Singled to left in his first at-bat, took a big turn forcing a throw to first, advanced to second with a heads up slide into the bag. Then stole third and advanced home on an errant throw. Savvy feel on the basepaths. Moved runners over later in the game on a grounder to second, did his job.

Illinois commit, currently ranked No. 39 in the Illinois’ 2019 class. 5-foot-11 165-pound, athletically-built, left-handed hitting outfielder. Finished the first game of the day 2-for-4. Hit a two-run single right back up the middle in his third at-bat. Singled sharply to left field in his fourth at-bat. Also, lined out sharply to the right fielder. Advanced feel for the barrel, loose hands and creates above-average bat speed for his size. Defensively, made a full-extension diving play in center field.

Verbally committed to Illinois.

Uncommitted. Doligale brought a lot of energy to games for the Top Tier American team all weekend while hitting from the leadoff position. More spread out now and in a crouch, his hands waggle pre-pitch in an easy rhythm before loading down and back with a minor wrap before hitting into his front side. His hands work quickly through the zone on a flat plane, and he worked gap to gap with firm line drives. Interesting to note: Doligale also showed the ability to drop down well-placed bunts before beating them out for hits. In centerfield, he glides around with ease, and shows confidence in his hands.

Uncommitted junior. Currently ranked No. 8 at position in the Illinois’ 2019 class. 5-foot-11, 165-pound, left-handed hitting, right-handed throwing outfielder, athletic frame, flashed quick-twitch abilities. Defensively showed a strong arm from left field. Made two throws with his momentum moving away from the target that carried with some accuracy. Athletically plays through the baseball. Agile footwork, clean, loose arm action, high ¾ slot. Fluid rhythm on both sides of the ball. Offensively reached base all three times and touched home three times. Drew two walks and laced a line drive single to centerfield. Showed present foot speed and feel on the basepaths when the centerfielder misplayed his single allowing Doligale to go first to third, which he did with ease. Utilized a level path with a gap to gap approach, looks to hit the ball where it’s pitched, grinded out at-bats. Transfers his weight effectively pre-swing with smooth hand separation before he attacks the baseball. Follow 2019 outfielder.

5-foot-11, 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, lean proportional frame. 6.73 runner in the 60. Squared stance, front foot heavy weight distribution, smooth loading action, stays on front side, good balance through contact. Path is level, gets extension, gap to gap type, fluid hitter. Contact consistently works the middle of the field, 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is short and loose, over the top slot, creates carry, 87 mph from the outfield. Feet are athletic, plays through the baseball with bounce, shuffle through release.

2017 Future Games - 5-foot-11, 155-pound, wiry, athletic, left-handed hitting outfielder. Potential top of the order type of bat with the ability to stick in center field. Ran a 6.80 laser-timed 60 on workout day. Recorded multiple times that were sub 4.20 down-the-line in the final game of the event. Aggressive on the base paths, looks to steal. Offensively, starts from an athletic, slightly open setup position, smooth load and minimal stride. Loose, whippy hands, creates easy bat speed and works both gaps. Tripled into the right-center gap during game one of the event. Registered an 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, fleet-footed outfielder. Made the play of the game defensively for team Illinois in game one, showing off impressive range in center field. Quick first step on a ball driven to deep center field and tracked it down on the warning track, all-in-all making the play look relatively routine. Natural outfield actions, plays through the baseball with soft hands. Long arm action from a over-the-top slot, clocked at 84 mph.
