6-foot-1, 180-pound, athletically-built, right-handed pitcher. Delivery works with rhythm, stays on-line and lands front-toe slightly closed. Long, quick arm action, works out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball, hard, late arm-side-run at times, sat 79-80 mph, touched 81. Curveball, maintains arm speed, sharp action, 11/5 shape, 69-72 mph. Changeup, thrown aggressively, arm-side-run, sat 70-74 mph.
1/21/19 - 6-foot, 190-pound, right-handed hitting/throwing outfielder, athletic and strong build. At the plate, open setup, smooth load back, strides to even, maintains control. Loose hands, short path with present bat speed, line drive hitter with a gap-to-gap approach. Exit velocity topped 90 mph from a tee. Defensively, quick feet, gets behind and through the ball, two handed gather, clean exchange. Long to release, quick arm speed, high ¾ slot, throws topped 81 mph from the outfield turf. 7.99 runner in the 60.
2.19.18 - 6-foot, 187 pound, strong, two way prospect. On the mound, right handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, utilizes lower half well, in line directionally, athletic finish. Loose arm action, quick arm speed, high ¾ arm slot, some effort involved. Fastball, slight run, favored arm side, sat 80-81 mph, topped 82 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, occasionally gets around the ball, ranged 65-68 mph. Changeup, arm side run, in the zone, sat 71-72 mph. Cutter, best pitch, in the zone, 79-81 mph. Offensively, crouched, open setup, short stride, back load, balance throughout. Level path, gets extension, fast bat speed, creates lift, plus contact; 88 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, clean exchange, plays through the ball, long arm action, high ¾ slot, throws topped 83 from the outfield. Ran a 8.09 laser timed 60.
2.20.17 - 5-foot-10, 175-pound, two-way prospect. Offensively, right-handed hitter, fluid rhythm, gap-to-gap approach, some looseness in swing, solid contact, long path. Exit velocity registered at 83 mph. Open, balanced setup with a smooth load. Defensively, has a long, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Throws had carry and were clocked at 80 mph from the outfield. 8.26 runner in the laser-timed 60. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, uptempo, stays in line, lands square. Long, quick arm action from a ¾ angle. Fastball, mostly straight, sat 75-76 mph. Curveball, 10/4 shape, 63-64 mph. Changeup, some sink, 67-69 mph.
