Hill’s best tool is his game changing speed. Laid down two bunts in game 3.62 and 3.76 down the line. Hit a groundball to third for a fielders choice, 4.00 down the line.

6.18.15 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound, small frame, athletic build, right-handed hitter. Hits from a slightly open stance, loads back, short stride, good balance. Above average bat speed, level path, 86 mph exit velocity. In the IF showed soft hands, fluid footwork, quick exchange.  Short arm action, over-the-top arm slot, 72 mph across the infield. In the OF showed long arm action, some accuracy, 80 mph from the OF. Ran a 6.61 60-time.

6/8/15 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder, with a small, athletic frame. Impact speed on the bases causing fielders to rush throws. 4.15 down the line on groundball. Ran a 6.66 this past fall. Solid runner first to third. At the plate hits from an upright narrow stance, with quick hands. Have seen him mostly in the infield in the past, played centerfield today. Covers a lot of ground in the outfield. Showed an average arm from the outfield in the fall throwing 80 mph.

10.19.14 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound middle infielder, thin athletic frame. Quick athlete, runs a fluid 6.76 in the 60. Offensively hits from tall narrow setup, slightly open, short stride. Handsy swing, path works well, stays flat through zone, line drive approach, spray hitter, 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Showed soft hands defensively, projects at second base, quick feet, excellent transfer, hands work quick. 77 mph across the diamond, 80 mph from the outfield.

2/17/14 - Thin build, 5-foot-8, 125-pound middle infielder. Advanced foot speed, runs the 60 in 6.66, smooth runner. Defensively showed soft hands on the infield, short quick footwork. Arm action is short, quicker release, 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. Offensively hits from a tall narrow stance, short stride, maintains balance. Handsy swing, spray singles hitter, flat path. 68 mph exit velocity from the tee.

1/20/13 - Thin frame, 5-foot-8, 125-pounds, lacks overall strength. Athletic feet, runs 6.97 60. Defensively uses short arm action, arm lacks carry (68 mph), soft hands defensively, quick footwork. Offensively hits from open and narrow stance, lacks extension, 71 mph exit velocity.

10/28/12 - Hill is a 5-foot-8, 125-pound middle infielder who ran an event-best 6.91 60. Hill exhibited soft hands in the field and displayed a 64 mph arm across the diamond. Offensively, Hill hits from a tall balanced stance. Hill has a very quiet approach; it is a simple swing that is mostly generated with his hands. Hill also showed the ability to spray the ball to all fields.
