Right-handed hitter, bat stays flat through the zone at times and when swing syncs up the ball jumps off his bat . Back-spun a line-drive double into the wind and off the left-field wall in his first at-bat. Finished the day 1-for-2 with a walk.

6.14.16 - 6-foot-1, 185- pound strong frame. Offensively, right-handed hitter, short, level bat path, line drive approach, creates some backspin. Wide, balanced setup. Exit velocity recorded at 85 mph. Defensively, easy, soft hands, showed feel for catching position, consistent pop times between 2.07-2.22. Clocked at 72 mph behind the plate. Also, ran a 7.81 60-yard dash.
