True Sophomore. Formerly ranked No. 92 in Illinois' 2021 class. 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. Last season recorded 41 strikeouts to only 15 walks in 33.1 innings. The right-hander worked his fastball up to 90 mph, sitting mostly 88-89 mph with an average IVB of 20.1 and max IVB of 23.1; he also went to a sinker that sat right at 84 mph. His curveball flashed above-average action, playing with sharp 11/5 shape at 75-77 mph. His changeup sat in the 76-79 mph range and averaged over 20 inches of horizontal movement, maxing out at 22.5 inches.

Body: 6-1, 195-pounds. Strong lower half.
Delivery: Upright, hunched start from the middle of the rubber; side steps to high leg lift, coiled and closed. Works on target, lands slightly closed, athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Shorter arm action, short circle, to high 3/4 slot. Loose arm.
FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Heavy type; run/sink action with a feel to locate. Averaged 2,055 rpm spin rate.
CB: 67-67 mph. Only captured one; gradual action. Has previously flashed sharp, 12/6 shape.
CH: 75-77 mph. Go-to offspeed offering; thrown at arm speed. Run/fade action and can locate it. Tendency to lower arm slot.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, fluid pre-pitch hand waggle, steady leg lift timing trigger. Short and uphill bat path, showed loose pull-side power with a middle-in approach.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 88 mph. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot. Above-average arm strength for age, some accuracy to the bag with carry across the diamond.
Defense: Attacks the baseball, glove plays out front, steady hands, clean hand transfer with some pack to release. Corner infield profile.
Run: 7.51 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. Durable frame, strength in lower half.
Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, simple, repeatable and minimal wasted movement. Works on-line, lands square and easy effort throughout.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, loose arm action works quick and out of a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Downhill tilt, pitches at the bottom of the zone, occasional run and sink.
CB: 68-72 mph. Better feel from the windup. 12/6 shape, late, sharp bite, occasional downer action and feel for the zone.
CH: 72-75 mph. Maintains arm speed, swing and miss action at times, feel, arm-side-run and sink.
