College: Butler University Stout is a fast-rising prospect who possesses considerable upside. The long and lanky left-hander has a quick arm and plenty of room for physical development, which is why we believe his 82-84 mph fastball should naturally climb in the coming year. Stout also can throw a curveball and changeup for strikes. As a junior, he posted a 5-3 record with a 2.32 ERA. In 54 innings he struck out 62. Stout is also a very good defensive outfielder with a strong arm (85 mph). Offensively, he has a smooth left-handed swing which he used to bat .461 with 11 doubles, 2 triples, 1 homer and 32 RBI.
