7/10/18 - Missouri State commit. 6-foot-1, 180-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder, athletic live body. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, smooth loading action, short stride, good balance through contact. Path is short and level, repeatable stroke, stays balanced and barrel aware. Line drive gap to gap contact, exit velocity topped 84 mph from a tee. Plus foot speed, 6.63 runner in the 60. Defensively plays athletic in the outfield, easy actions, soft hands. Short over the top arm action, carries at 88 mph from the outfield.

3.16.18 - Missouri State commit. Currently ranked No. 17 in the Illinois 2019 class. 6-foot-1 175 pound, strong, athletically-built, right-handed hitting, two-way prospect. Started on the mound for the Hillmen and went four quality innings. In the four-innings of work, Ziegler allowed one hit, one walk, one unearned run and struck out nine. Fiery, confident and competitive on the mound. Repeatable delivery, utilizes strong lower half to get extension, works directionally in line with a slight finish towards first base. Pitches with rhythm and a quick tempo. Loose, clean arm action, quick arm speed out of an over the top slot. Advanced pickoff move and defends his position well; agile and athletic. Fastball was straight with slight run at times, sat 82-84 mph, topped 85 mph. Curveball, 12/6 tight break, depth in the zone, 70-71 mph. Changeup showed fade with good arm speed, only thrown in warmups, 76 mph. At the plate, relaxed, open setup, slight load with a short, simple stride. Controls the barrell in the zone with natural lift in swing, gap to gap approach with fluid rhythm throughout. Finished 1-for-2 on the day with a single and one wak, driving in a run. Showed speed on the base paths swiping two bags handily.

2.11.18 - Missouri State commit. 6-foot-1, 175-pound outfielder, athletic proportional frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride, smooth loading action, maintains good balance throughout contact. Easy bat speed, athletic hands, barrel aware. Path works uphill making gap to gap contact. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Centerfield profile in the outfield, plus runner, 6.68 60 yard dash, athletic defender, plays through the baseball with soft hands, easy actions. Arm action is short and over the top, arm carries, 89 mph from the outfield.

2017 Future Games (8.2.17) - Recent Missouri State commit. 6-foot-1, 175-pound, athletic, strong build, two-way prospect. Hard-nosed, high-motor player and aggressive on the base paths; ran a 6.61 laser-timed 60 on workout day and recorded multiple sub 4.2 times down-the-line during game play. Impressed with quality at-bats throughout the week; finished 3-for-8 with a double, triple, BB, HBP, 2 RBI, 2 SB's and a run in three games. Right-handed hitter, open, relaxed setup, stride gets back to even, and smooth rhythm throughout. Highly repeatable, loose swing, controls the barrel and makes a lot of hard contact. Gap-to-gap approach and slight lift in swing; 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. In the outfield, quick feet, covers ground, quick first step and plays through the baseball. Short, quick arm action from an over-the-top slot, throws clocked at 88 mph. Right-handed pitcher, got on the mound for an inning during the final game of the weekend. Struck out two and did not allow a hit in the inning. Highly-efficient, repeatable delivery, stays on-line and works with rhythm. Short, quick arm action from an over-the-top slot. Flashed feel for three pitches and mixed effectively. Fastball works straight, tilt when down in the zone, ranged between 82-86 mph. Changeup, maintains fastball arm speed, fade action, feel at 77 mph. Curveball, tight spin, 12/6 shape, good depth, sat 71-73 mph.

7.26.16 - 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitting OF/RHP. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. Accurate throws showed carry throwing 82 mph from the outfield. Plays thru the ball with fluid footwork and a clean exchange. At the plate hits from a tall, balanced setup with a long stride and good balance. Pull hitter with an uphill path and extension thru contact. 76 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.36 runner down the line. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action and regular effort. Drop and drive delivery with some rhythm. Fastball showed slight running action at 78-79 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape with short breaking action at 71-72 mph for strikes. Changeup sat 71-73 mph.
