Uncommitted, 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. Kriese got the start on the mound in Friday’s game, tossing a complete game to earn the win with only one unearned run allowed. The right-hander was able to keep hitters off-balance with his three pitch mix. He operated out of an easy tall/fall delivery, with a loose ¾ arm action, finishing in-line. His fastball sat 78-82 mph throughout the entirety of the game, and was thrown consistently around the zone. He also utilized an 11/5 curveball at 68-69 mph, and a downer changeup at 70-71 mph. Final Line: 7.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. An impressive performance from the uncommitted junior.
