3/1/20:The Gophers top 2021 at this point looks to be the slender, long-bodied 6-foot-5, 180-pound Massey, who ran his four-seam fastball to the plate at 91-92 mph, and his two-seamer at 88-89. Coming to the plate on the same plane was a good slider in the low-80s, and he leaned heavily on this pitch during his 5.2-inning start against Duke on Saturday. He also mixed in an 80-81 mph change with good arm speed and modest fade. Massey received a no-decision in the contest after allowing three runs on five hits while striking out eight.
