1/13/19 - 6-foot-2, 195-pound, two-way prospect, projectable, highly-athletic built. Right-handed hitter, wide, slightly crouched setup, leg-kick timing trigger. Loose, quick hands, short bat path, line-drive approach and uses the middle of the field. 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, quick, fluid footwork, covers ground, plays through the baseball. Long arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 85 mph. 7.28 runner in the 60, laser-timed. On the mound, side-step wind up, slight drop and drive delivery and lands square. Loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball, works straight, finishes through the zone, 81-82 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 69-71 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed at times, 76-78 mph.
2.19.18 - 6-foot-2, 195-pound, athletically built, two-way prospect with present strength. Right-handed pitcher, tall and fall delivery, lands square and finished upright. Loose arm action, inconsistent length on the backside and comes out of an over-the-top slot. Fastball has gradual cut, sat 74-75 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, down in the zone, better feel out of the windup, ranged from 60-66 mph. Changeup is 68-70 mph. At the plate, wide setup, short stride, level bat path, worked middle of the field and occasional strong contact. 88 mph exit velocity off a tee. At first base, long arm action at a high ¾ slot, throws flashed carry at 77 mph. Ran a 7.39 laser timed 60.
