Arm action was short and over the top, stayed on line, quick release, 72 mph. Right-handed hitter, squared setup, slightly wider base, short stride, good balance. Hard contact out of simple, balanced approach. Fast bat, short path with extension, line drive, gap to gap approach. 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. 4.48 runner down the line.
7.30.16 - Athletically built, catcher, carries strength. Right-handed hitter. Controls the barrel and flashes bat speed. Balanced setup, pre-pitch rhythm and compact swing. Hit a line drive single up the middle in his first at-bat. Defensively, short, typical catcher arm action. Pop times ranged 2.15-2.22 in between innings. Quiet receiver, blocks well.
1.31.16 - Solid, durable build 5-foot-10, 190-pound well-proportioned right-handed hitting catcher. Defensively, athletic actions and quick exchange behind the plate. Short arm action, over-the-top slot, accurate throws with carry and clocked at 74 mph. Pop times ranged between 2.11-2.18. Offensively, stayed on top of the baseball and found the barrel routinely during batting practice. Balanced setup, slight pre-pitch load, short stride, good balance and level bat path through the hitting zone. Registered an exit velocity of 79 mph. Also, ran a 4.54 home-to-first.
