On the mound delivery works with some effort, showed balance throughout, works on line with squared landing. Loose arm, whippy action, slight decal on secondary offerings, high ¾ slot, quick arm. Fastball has arm side action, slightly heavy appearance, showed feel for the zone, 85-87 mph. Changeup showed some feel, slower arm action, creates fade, ranged 75-79 mph. Splitter showed slight tumble, 71-72 mph. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride. Aggressive swing, strong bat, created backspin, two piece approach, fast bat with pull side pop. 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed good footwork around the bag, natural actions. Above average runner, 7.07 laser timed 60.

6/18/15 - 6-foot-5, 210-pound, strong, athletic build, two-way player. Hits from a tall, balanced set up, loads back, short stride, above-average balance. Above-average bat speed, short bat path, 91 mph exit velocity. Defensively showed soft hands, quick footwork, long arm action, high ¾ slot, 79 mph from 1B. Ran a 7.29 60-time. On the mound displayed a tall-and-fall delivery, high ¾ arm slot, loose arm action, landing square. Fastball showed arm-side-run, sat 83-84 mph. Curveball sat 64-68 mph. Changeup showed sink and cut, sat 69-73 mph. Knuckleball 70-71 mph.

2.16.15 - 6-foot-4, 210-pound, right-handed hitting 1B/RHP. In the field has a long, loose arm action. Carry on throws with fluid footwork while playing thru the ball. Threw 81 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from a balanced, open setup with a smooth load, and short stride. Showed good power at the plate with a long, level swing path. Strong thru contact with 90 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.29. On the mound works from a ¾ arm angle with a long, loose arm action, and regular effort. Tall and fall online delivery with some rhythm. Fastball showed run and sat 81-83 mph. Curveball showed sweeping actions at 66-68 mph. Changeup flashed sink at 70-72 mph. Threw a knuckleball at 69-71 mph.

1.18.15 - 6-foot-4, 210-pound lanky and athletic RHP works from a long, loose, quick, ¾ arm slot, toe down at balance point, loads lower half over the rubber, lands square in line with home plate, spins off slightly towards first base at foot strike. Fastball sat 83-85 mph with late arm side run, impressing since he sat 76-78 mph back in June. Lacks feel for 68-73 mph curveball with gradual 10/4 shape. Arm slot may be conducive to a slider down the road. 69-73 mph split flashed hard, late, downward action. Pomykalski has huge hands, which works well for his split.

7/14/14 - Large frame and build, 6-foot-3, 195-pound two-way player. On the mound delivery works on line, lower half opens early. Operates from a high ¾ slot, shorter arm action. Fastball has sink, slight run, 76-78 mph showed occasional feel. Slider has sweeping action, ranged from 65-70 mph. Straight change sits between 68-71 mph, occasional deceleration. Showed the ability to throw all pitches for strikes, sinker slider type guy, produced many groundballs in game action. Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, toe tap double stride, erratic timing. Flashed raw pop, longer path with strength, 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
