A solid all-around performer, the 5-foot-11, 160-pound Hendren impressed in the field, showing soft hands, fundamental footwork and an accurate arm across the infield. At the plate, Hendren demonstrated good bat speed and a short, quick swing to the baseball. Hendren also showed some foot speed running a 7.2 60.
