4.18.16 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-hander pitcher with a long, athletic frame. Came out the bullpen and threw the final two innings, picking up the save. Long arm action, wrist wrap on the backside; consistently got extension out front and repeated his delivery. Fastball worked the bottom of the zone flashing tilt; boaring action in on right-handed hitters at times, sat 84-86 mph in the seventh inning. Confidence in his changeup, featuring it as his main off-speed pitch, feel, maintained fastball arm speed, fade action and ranged between 76-79 mph. Threw his curveball one time, flashed depth and late action, 11/5 shape, 72 mph. Final Line - 2IP, 1H, 0R, K.
2.14.16 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed pitcher, long lean frame. Tall and fall delivery, works with some effort, finishes first base side. Arm action is long, wrist wrap on back side, high ¾ slot, has arm speed. Fastball has run and sink, 85-87 mph, showed feel for the zone, occasional tilt. Curveball has 12/6 shape, gradual action, 65-68 mph. Changeup is firm and confident, thrown with conviction, fastball arm speed, sinks to arm side and shows feel of the strike zone, 78-79 mph.
