4/22/14 Ranked No. 44 in Illinois’ 2014 class, No. 209 overall. Committed to John A. Logan JC. Physically impressive 6-foot-4, 215-pound athlete. Shows plus arm from outfield, moves very well for size. Offensively, had two line-drive singles up the middle in first two at-bats, including a two-run single. Quiet, balanced approach. Should become high-interest prospect out of junior college.

2/17/13 - Hahs is an athletically built 6-foot-4, 185-pound two-way prospect who features long arms and legs. Hahs is athletic in everything he does. On the mound, Hahs has an extremely quick arm from a high-3/4 slot. He showed excellent rhythm and athleticism throughout his delivery. His fastball registered consistently at 86 mph, while his changeup ranged between 70-75 mph and flashed some sink down in the zone. His athleticism and arm plays well in the outfield. He takes aggressive, confident routes to the ball; plays through the ball, and his throws (86 mph) showed carry and were on-line. Offensively, he demonstrated advanced bat speed. Hahs ran a 7.27 60.

On the mound, Haas displayed a short, quick arm action with a fastball that sat at 77-79 mph. The right-hander�s best pitch was he showed a feel for and displayed sink. His curveball exhibited an 11/5 shape and displayed good depth. At, the plate he showed quick hands, and in the field he showcased solid actions and an accurate arm.
