4/29/23

Aurora commit. Listed at 6-foot, 185-pounds with an athletic look and upside. The left-handed hitter worked out of the leadoff spot and gave an impressive look throughout the day. Pesky, top of the order profile, stands up on the plate and chokes up on the bat, flat, directional swing for the most part that looks to put the ball in play, also showcased some pop with a home run to his pull-side. Finished the day 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored. In the outfield, showed some feel for the position with steady actions and an accurate arm in IO.

10/02/22

Arm: RH. OF - 77 mph. Long arm action, over-the-top slot.
Defense: Clean footwork, attacks the baseball at times and gains ground through release.

3/18/22

6-foot-, 180-pound, long-levered, left-handed hitter with strength. Was first time we have had eyes on Lukancic who hit out of the two-hole for the Tigers and DH’s. Strong levers, creates leverage and quality jump off the barrel at the plate. Stays inside the baseball and showed the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with authority. Singled down the left-field line in his first at-bat, drove a sac-fly to left-field in his second at-bat and lined out hard to the left-fielder in his third at-bat. Left-handed bat to follow in the 2023 class.
