North Central College commit. 5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed pitcher, high-waisted and lanky, athletic actions. Started and competed going into the seventh getting pulled after a walk on a tough call, finished with a line: 6 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, BB, 5 K. Crafty kid with feel for the dirt circle, avoided the big inning, pitched his way out of jams, ability to keep hitters off balance. Clean delivery, compact balance point, heel lifted, works in-line to home, toe slightly closed, athletic finish, slight head whack with spin off to third. Clean and athletic arm action, hides on back side, gets on hitters, high ¾ slot, some effort. Filled the zone with all three pitches, mostly FB/CV combo. Fastball, easy run out of the hand, spotted to both sides of the dish, tilt down at times, 77-81 mph. Curveball, loopy depth, effective arm speed, 1/7 shape, 67-69 mph. Changeup played 70-72 mph, slight fade.

2.19.18 - 5-foot-10, 170 pound, small, lanky, left handed pitching prospect. Tilt and topple style, directionally in line, slightly closed landing, some rhythm involved. Long, fluid arm action, high ¾ arm slot, present effort needed. Fastball had hard run, some sink, 77-79 mph, topped 81 mph. Curveball, 10/4 shape, gradual break, occasionally sharp, 64-67 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, showed sink, ranged 69-73 mph.

2.26.17 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound, left-handed outfielder and pitcher. Defensively, works from a ¾ arm slot with a long, loose arm action. Plays through the ball with soft hands and clean on exchanges. Clocked at 82 mph from the outfield. Offensively, balanced, open setup, short stride, fluid rhythm maintains balance throughout. Line drive hitter, level barrel path through the zone, generates bat speed. Recorded a 78 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 4.65 home to first. On the mound, works from a ¾ arm slot with long arm action. Drop and drive delivery, works on-line, falls of mound to finish. Fastball, late run to it, clocked at 77-79 mph. Curveball, 1/7 shape, thrown with near fastball arm speed, early action, clocked at 66-68 mph. Changeup, sinking action, thrown with near fastball arm speed, clocked at 69-72 mph.
