1B/LHP Karson Stiefer (Prairie Ridge) - is an athletic, left/left, two-way prospect. Stiefer, listed at 6-foot, 163-pounds, ran a 3.87 30-yard split, second best of the event. At the plate he stays short and quick to the baseball looking to control the barrel and spray hard line-drive contact to all fields. Defensively, he is an asset at first base with an understanding and feel for the position. On the mound, he filled up the strike zone with a polished three-pitch mix and fastball that topped at 80 mph.

Body: 6-0, 163-pounds. Wiry frame with room for continued physical development.
Hit: LHH. Narrow, open setup, long stride. Quick, direct hands, on the barrel, uphill path and worked the middle of the field.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 87.5 mph.
Arm: LH. INF - 74 mph. Loose, whippy arm, 3/4 release.
Defense: Athletic actions, active footwork, steady hands, two-hand gather, secures the ball into his body,
Run: 3.87 runner in the 30-yard dash.

Uncommitted. Wiry, 6-foot, 155-pound frame, long limbs with room for added growth. Made his varsity debut ad only a freshman and impressed over his four innings of work. The southpaw’s arm works long out of the glove into a ¾ slot, playing loose to release. Down the mound, he works with a slight drop/drive lower-half, moving quickly from balance point into a stride that works in-line to the plate, front foot landing square. His fastball sat mostly 75-77 mph with consistent life to the arm-side, setting up his off-speeds effectively. His go-to secondary offering was a heavy fading changeup, thrown confidently and often with feel for the zone, 66-69 mph. He also went to a 65-66 mph curveball, playing off a gradual 1/7 plane.

Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, stays tall at release creating a downward angle on the hitter.
