Uncommitted. Listed at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds. Demay came on in relief with two outs in the first inning to stop some bleeding and was lights out over his 2.1 innings of work - not allowing a single hit, run or walk and striking out four. Demay is a quick worker on the mound, getting the ball back from the catcher and hopping right back up on the rubber. He worked his sinking fastball up to 83 mph from a ¾ slot, sitting mostly 81-82 mph and pounding the zone. He showed mature feel for his breaking ball, moving it to both sides of the plate for strikes and playing with slurvy action, 71-72 mph. He also flipped in a diving changeup in any count, 76-77 mph. Polished right-hander with mature pitchability that competes.
The 5-foot-11, 165-pound right-hander averaged 2,371 RPM on his curveball throughout his ‘pen, reaching up to 2,451 RPM; playing off a 10/4 plane with slurve-type action at times, 66-67 mph. His fastball was nothing to ignore either, topping out at 79 mph with life through the zone. To compliment his first two offerings, he went to a changeup at 69-70 mph, fading to the bottom of the zone consistently.

Delivery: Stretch only, athletic and repeats delivery, high leg-kick into balance point, drop/drive lower-half, remains in-line to the plate with a square landing foot.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm out of the glove into a 3/4 slot.
FB: T79.3, 78-79 mph. Plays with life through the zone. T1985, 1782 average rpm.
CB: 66-67 mph. Slurvy shape, 10/4 action. T2451, 2371 average rpm.
CH: 69-70 mph. Fades to the bottom of the zone. T1509, 1400 average rpm.
Hit: LHH. Wide stance, short stride, hands start over head. Long path, works uphill, consistently on time and works the pull-side of the diamond.
Power: 82 max exit velocity, averaged 71.4 mph. 256’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 80 mph. Over the top arm slot, athletic arm, flashes accuracy.
Defense: Clean footwork, soft hands, athletic actions, some feel for the position.
Run: 7.54 runner in the 60.
