Defensively, Neuenkirchen showed advanced defensive feel for his age, with the ability to block pitches in the dirt while moving laterally. More importantly, Neuenkirchen proves to be a leader behind the plate, being a positive motivating force for his team. Plenty of room to fill out his frame and be a productive left-handed-hitting catcher in the future.
