Hit: RHH. Open, wide stance, smooth load, short stride to even. Aggressive, quick hands, uphill path with some length, showed a gap-to-gap approach with pull-side favoritism, fluid rhythm through contact. 
Power: 98 mph exit velocity from the tee. Fast bat speed with present bat strength.
Arm: RH. C - 80 mph.  Short, loose arm action, over-the-top slot, accurate throws with carry.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 91 in the Illinois’ 2020 class. 5-foot-11, 185-pound, right-handed hitting catcher, wide-shouldered, strong lower half. Started behind the plate and hit in the four-hole. Finished 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Aggressive swing, looks to do damage, long bat path, natural lift and ball jumps off the barrel. Grounded a single hard through the left-side and doubled deep to left-center field, 4.76 on the turn. Also, just got under a ball and flew out to center field. Defensively, flexible hips, squared low setup, soft hands and strong wrists; ability to stick pitches in the zone. Advanced, soft blocker, was active and agile behind the plate. Defensively showed above average actions, gets out of the crouch quick and clean, transfer is efficient, direct footwork. 1.96-2.09 pop times. Comfortable and confident receiver. Arm action is short and over the top, accurate to target, 81 mph out of the crouch. Right-handed hitter, tall open stance. Aggressive swing with effort, attacks the baseball, path is long and works uphill, pull side power approach. 94 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.17 runner in the 60.

1/21/19 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound catcher, solid build with strength. Strong arm out of the crouch (76 mph), plays short and high ¾ slot, played with accuracy and carry. Above average catching actions, blocks well, active and athletic. 2.04-2.15 pop times. 7.33 runner in the 60. Right-handed hitter, tall open setup, short stride to even. Path is long, slightly uphill, above average bat speed. 91 mph exit velocity from the tee.
