6/20/12  Ringer is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound two way player who showed well both as a position player and on the mound. As a position player, he displayed natural instincts in the field and showed a velocity of 85 mph across the diamond with real quick arm action.  Offensively, Ringer features a long swing with barrel whip through the zone and created backspin carry when he squared the ball up.  On the mound, Ringer has a high ¾ arm slot and showed good hand acceleration.  His heavy fastball sat at 84-85 mph, topping out at 86.  Ringer’s breaking ball had an 11-to-5 shape (68-71 mph) with sharp break and good arm speed and showed potential to be an out pitch. His changeup was 78-81 mph.
